Whale Watching Tour

If there is any place to spot whales, it is Hermanus, a town on the southern coast of the Cape that is famous for southern right whale watching during the winter and spring months.

The whales can be seen from cliffs in the town centre from June and usually leave in December.

The town’s history dates back to the 1800s, where its lush terrain attracted a farming and fishing community, as well as international travellers looking for the perfect place to relax. The whales were originally hunted in the nearby town of Betty’s Bay, but are now protected and celebrated at the annual Whale Festival in September. The town even has the world’s only Whale Crier, who blows on his kelp horn whenever whales are sighted.

Our tour includes a drive along the Indian Ocean coastline, a visit to Hermanus and whale watching from a boat. A beautiful excursion, especially for marine lovers!
